About Me

I love observing how people think, learn, and behave while interacting with… everything. I am a people watcher. I believe that empathy is perhaps a human beings most important attribute. It can teach us so many things about the people and world around us. I use research to steer the design of human centered experiences and products. My process is collaborative, iterative and empathy driven. I am most focused on User research, design, and usability testing.

I attended Kent State university to study Art History and Fine arts which helped me to grow and define my personal aesthetic, hone my ability to visually tell a story, and sharpen my creative thinking. I spent the next ten years in various roles in the Fine Art world. After my last role as a website and social media manager, I decided to make a career switch to User Experience Design.

I have spent the last two years as a stay at home dad and getting my master’s degree from My Alma Mater, Kent State University in User Experience Design. Through my professors, classmates and individual investigation of UX I have set myself up for success in the User Experience Design world.
